To prepare, you will need to refrain from taking certain medications or supplements that contain blood-thinning properties. This is essential to minimize the risk of excessive bleeding during the procedure and promote a faster recovery overall. If applicable, you will need to cease nicotine use several weeks in advance. You will need to use proper skin protection when leaving the house, and you may need to modify your skincare routine to avoid products that may impair your skin’s natural barrier. Depending on the extent of your treatment, you may also need to arrange transportation home after your procedure.

Procedure

Botulinum Toxin Injections

Sadyk Fayz, PA, or another specialist will use a fine needle to inject the botulinum toxin formula into specific facial muscles. This relaxes the specific muscles responsible for the development of facial wrinkles and creases. Most often, we inject in areas such as the forehead, crow’s feet, or glabellar lines.

Dermal Fillers

If you are receiving dermal fillers, you may receive a topical anesthetic before the start of your injections. We will use a fine needle containing the formula of your choice to carefully inject the filler into various areas of your face, either to fill in lines or restore volume. Laser Skin Resurfacing

At the beginning of a laser skin resurfacing treatment, you may receive either topical or local anesthesia. You will also receive protective eyewear. Liquid Facelift

This treatment will begin with either the application of a topical anesthetic or the administration of a local anesthetic to minimize any discomfort. You then receive predesignated amounts of injectable treatments to various parts of the face to address visible signs of aging.

PDO Threads

Our PDO thread treatment begins with the application of a topical anesthetic. When you feel comfortable and relaxed, the threads will be inserted into the skin using a fine needle. The length and amount of sutures used will depend on the area being treated, but they do not require any incisions, leaving your skin free from any scarring.

Recovery
